Grids or muntins or grilles are strips of material that simulate smaller panes of glass. Also available on select products with a 2 1 4 rail which allows for a double hung look on a casement window. Choose from any divided lite option either authentic or simulated with or without spacer bar or grilles between the glass for a smooth surface and easy cleaning. Grille patterns choose a pattern to fit your style.

Additional grille patterns the following grille patterns are available on select andersen products. The top half would usually be a fixed sash while the bottom half operates like a small casement window. Colonial or cape cod. Casement fixed lites. When it comes to patterns we can create almost any divided lite pattern including combinations of widths unique profiles rectangular or curved cuts and more. If you re choosing to stick with the historic style you will see six individual panes of glass separated by muntins in both the top and bottom panels of the windows. A colonial or cape cod style home will typically have divided light double hung windows.
