Door Handle Came Off

I was almost desperate enough to cut a hole in a tennis ball and attach it to the knob.

Door handle came off.

Anybody have this happen. Look for a little slot on the door end of the knob then find a small matching button on the side or underside of the spindle. Be careful so you don t chip any door paint. Over time a house door handle can come loose and come off.
